Who we are
Vono AI is a call-intelligence service for tradespeople, operated from Ireland. For any privacy enquiry, write to hello@vono.ie.
What we collect
- Account details you provide on signup (name, email, business name, password hash).
- Phone numbers you route through Vono and the number you forward calls to. The content of those calls is transcribed in real time; we keep the text transcript and our AI analysis in your dashboard.
- Project notes you record or type, plus any related metadata (materials, tasks, calendar events) you or our analysis create.
- Optional analytics from this marketing site (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) — only after you accept the cookie banner.
What we don't do
- We don't store call audio. Transcription is streaming-only.
- We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We don't train shared AI models on your call content.
How we store and protect data
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is scoped to your business — other tenants cannot see your records. Operational logs are short-lived and redacted of phone numbers.
Retention
Transcripts and call records are retained for up to 24 months unless you delete them sooner. You can wipe all of your data via Settings → Security & Compliance → Delete all my data, or by emailing us.
Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction, export, or erasure of your personal data at any time. We respond within 30 days. The Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) is your supervisory authority for complaints.
Subprocessors
We rely on a small number of vetted providers to deliver the service: Twilio (telephony), Deepgram (speech-to-text), OpenAI (analysis), MongoDB Atlas (database), and Vercel (web hosting). Each is contractually bound by data-processing agreements compliant with GDPR.
Changes
We'll post material changes here and notify active customers by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
